Just shy of six feet tall with crystal blue eyes and flaxen blonde hair, this ambitious 22-year-old glamazon from a quiet town in the north of Sweden has dreams of acting after a few more years of modeling. Victoria has graced the pages of Playboy magazine as Miss December 1996, and has just been named the 1997 Playboy’s Playmate of the Year. She has also skied competitively in the giant slalom as a lithe Swedish athlete. In 1993, Victoria was the first runner-up in the Miss Sweden beauty pageant, and went on to represent Sweden in the Miss World contest. There, Victoria met a modeling agent from Paris and has been modeling ever since.

Karin Victoria Silvstedt born 19 September 1974 is a Swedish celebrity model, actress and television personality.Born in Skelleftehamn,Silvstedt was raised in a family of five in a small village in Northern Sweden,having one older sister and one younger brother.She was keen on horseback riding, and wanted to become a veterinarian.

Silvstedt’s father was the captain of the local ski team, and she started alpine skiing at the age of five.A gifted athlete, Silvstedt became a world-class member of the Swedish National Ski Team, ranking as high as fourth among her future Olympian teammates in the Super Giant Slalom during a Swedish Junior Championships. Once, she also competed against Pernilla Wiberg, losing her one and half seconds.However, a shoulder accident in the middle of a skiing competition prematurely ended Silvstedt’s Olympic dreams at the age of 16.Few years later, Silvstedt was invited to participate in the Miss Sweden beauty pageant, after her mother and sister had sent some pictures of her to the pageant officials.
