Tracy Morgan: ‘I Will Stab My Son in the Head if He’s Gay’

UPDATE: And here’s the predictable ending everyone saw coming, so I’m putting it first.

Tracy Morgan just got uninvited to Gwyneth Paltrow’s house for macrobiotic paella this weekend because apparently he decided to reiterate that he believes homosexuality is a choice at a recent performance in Nashville. TMZ reports:

According to reports, Morgan took the stage at the Ryman Auditorium and went off about gays — saying, “Gays need to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”
He added, “Gay is something that kids learn from the media and programming.”
When talking about the possibility of his son being gay — Tracy said he “better talk to me like a man and not in a gay voice or I’ll pull out a knife and stab that little nigger to death.”
Afterward, Tracy told the crowd, “I don’t “fucking care if I piss off some gays, because if they can take a fucking dick up their ass… they can take a fucking joke.”

I’m honestly at an impasse here because 1. Tracy Morgan is a comedian, and comedians should be allowed to say the most offensive shit they can think of even if it’s genuinely from a place of ignorance fueled by religion. And 2. If you asked him if he meant what he said, he’d say, “Aw, hell, no, I love gay people,” then French kiss Alec Baldwin because Tracy Morgan is a hilarious drug addict. (Evidence below.) I know this seems like a pass, but again, I’m not about to fault someone for bombing a joke which is something I do for a living. (Evidence: This entire site.) Also, I’m pretty sure this is exactly how his performance went:
